Off to school!

So today has been really calm. Been watching some nip/tuck and went to school with my skateboard. Its hard to describe the feeling when you throw it on the ground and get one foot on it and start to push with the other. The vibration from the asphalt that goes through the wheels, the trucks, the board and up in your foot. This sport/lifestyle/art or whatever is pure love. You can be alone or with 100 people, you can have a shitty day that turns out to be the best in a long time just because you did something new. Got to say that i love it, 100%. Skateboarding is Love, yeah.

By the way, buy this glasses to me and i be your friend, i promise. haha. Peace~

Yesterday was party, alot of dubstep and alot of drinking. Actually had one of the best evenings on a long time. Thanks for that people. Now its time to watch a movie and take it easy. Have a nice saturday people.

So, today has been a hectic day. Got one of thoose 8 hour tasks again. Had to make a poster for a Pippi Långstrump show and i think mine freaked out a little. Ill upload it tomorrow, not really satisfied with it yet. Mailed a agency in Barcelona today aswell, about internship. See if they answer me tomorrow, they are crazy though. Really nice stuff. Dont know if my dreams about US is running away from me, well see in 4 months…

Been sitting in school pretty much all day today. Actually fixed a pretty nice motion that i will upload probably tomorrow when im finished with it. This “Quote of the day” is something i like. It will surely be pretty much from songwriters that ive listened to sometime during the day. Today was alot of hate so M.O.P was playing alot in my speakers. Changed to Avant Garde though, just because i like it alot more. Peace~

Dont know what to say really, listen to alot of music now. Picked up my guitar the other day aswell… It feels good to do something else then just try to be creative all the time. I think im sick of it, hope its temporary though…

Trying to be creative so i dont need to think of everything. I feel like shit, really… Shit.

So, we got our first assignment two days ago and it was “Design the Designer”. It consisted of choosing a designer that you liked and then make a piece of art from three different themes with influence from that designer. I didnt really choose a designer though, my guy was Salvador Dalí, a surrealist that inspired me alot when i sketched when i was a bit younger. The three themes we could choose from was

• Hyper Island, a retrospective 1995-2008
• James and the giant peach by Roald Dahl
• And some more bookcover thing…

Anyway, i picked the Hyper thing and had an idea that showed how out new CEO is dragging down the school a little. I know nobody says it, but hey, almost everybody thinks the same thing. This is no hatepost, just a personal opinion… So dont blame me for bad publicity or something…

Well well, further down you can see the jpg of my “art piece”. The day after that was a new task, pretty silly task but after some mail from the module leader it basically was to get everyone to learn all the programs. So i made pretty tacky stuff in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and HTML. I decided to put some more weight in After Effects. You can see that aswell in some youtube format… I got pretty satisfied with it and will probably work with some more motion the comming weeks. Its really fun and there is a big market for it.

Today i sat and made some random typography, dont know if i like it. Its pretty wip (working in progress) so i probably work on it some more next week or something. Also took a little photoround with Cathrine up to the water tower here yesterday. Little Karlskrona is bigger then you think and it can get damn cold here aswell. Time for me to chill some and enjoy the weekend. Peace~

So at 10am this morning we had our first introduction to the specialization module. Seems like this is actually gonna be a real fun module. Much individual work and almost no presentations. We started of with a pretty forced team building though, haha. All these team building just sucks. Atleast when we almost spend 10 hours a day with eachother. Well well its good doing some design, i actually try some more 3D now, so fun to animate stuff and lightsetting an all that. Maybe ill upload some pics later today.

Let me tell you about my weekend, atleast the sunday. That was one of the best day i had on a long long time. All started off with waking up like 11am and slept for like 5 hours. Couldnt really sleep so i just stayed awake until like 6am. Got up, ate some Cottage cheese on some bread and drank some water, what a lovely breakfast. During this term i have tryed to get a sportshall to have some class activities in. I managed to do this this week and like 3 months further. So at like 12 we went to the hall and 2 people showed up… We three that were there played some basket and that was sooo fun. Long time ago i did it so we had a hell of a time.

After that i went home, ate some and i was so stoked about the great weather so i actually got my jeans on and went to the parkinghouse to skate. To feel the vibration under your feet when you land a kickflip or just a plain ollie can be one of the best things i know. To just cruise down a small hill and do some small ollies and kickflips is wünderbar. So i skated some flat inside the parkinghouse for like 1 hour then i went home, took a shower and packed my stuff to go to school.

On the way to school i took myself a little photosession. So nice to actually play some with my camera. Was ages since i did that.

So that was my great weekend.
