So my mom is having this party soon and she decided to do a animated invitation instead of a boring sent out letter. Had basically 2 nights to smash this out but I think it came out pretty good. Also wanted the slides not to stay as long as they do right now but people who are invited are all between 30-65 so had to think about the old people not seeing so fast, haha!

Anyhow, enjoy. And yes there will be a bouncer so you won’t be able to just show up…

So, actually starting to work some on my new reel that is hopefully coming out before the summer. Have some ideas for a intro so I tried with some really really lowrez tests today. All 250fps with timeremapping and such. Though I was gonna do it with DPIT Effex but I don’t really get the mesh that I want with that plugin, so pretty much decided for Realflow instead. Although have no idea how I am gonna solve to get the foam over to C4D… Well, just some test images…

So i got this opportunity from Lee over at Patta to do this promotional video for the upcoming shoe they we’re going to do with Asics. This is all Amsterdam mode so I got some nice shots of the shoes, and went out for a night in the city to get the classic canals, bikeracks, all that stuff. Stabilized almost all the footage with the Warper in CS5.5 and graded it til’ the way i liked it. Live today, i proudly present this video! Biggup!

So Patta had this contest a few days back with the intention to take or create an image that had something to do with Patta. Me being a regular customer i though i would give it a try.

Think i bent the rules a little bit though when i saw the other contestants taking photographs of Patta products. Anyway they did this lighter a few weeks ago that i though was dope, so i modeled it and lit up the scene a lil’ nicely.

I actually won and got me a pair of the Patta x Kangaroo boots they released this saturday (actually already bought a pair then, so now i have one to put on ice!). Super stoked! Here is my submission, click here for bigger image.

So, had this badass set on Green Room this saturday. Had a pretty awesome weekend in general. Only 5 days left now til we go on vacation. Gonna be so nice, just relax a little.

Anyway, Dubstep Bastards has a new thingie coming up. And as the video dude in the collective I was asked for some help. Badman Leroy helped me out with everything and think the result came out pretty cool. 2 days of work and way to much time rendering things on my slow iMac at home but here it is. Enjoy people!

So, Friday is finally here. Pretty much been stressing out the latest week on this but i managed to produce a lot of new stuff for tonight. Here is some screens from the set. If you are in Amsterdam, do not forget to come out to Trouw tonight, this night is going to be epic!

Mellow Sunday, waking up late n shit. 25 degrees out so didnt really wanna sit at home. Went out skating at Ghettopark. Lasted for like 2 hours before 4 liters of water was gone and i was dying slowly. Went home and continued with some particle stuff. So fun!

Playing around in Realflow at the moment, trying out some techniques I have not tried before. Such a hassle working in it though. The process is basically.

Create object in Cinema
Wxport the object as a .obj
Import the .obj into Realflow
Play around with the fluids in low res
Do some test simulations
When happy with the simulation, increase the density
Export simulation with a mesh
Import mesh back into Cinema
Lighting and texturing
Render out from Cinema
Import into After Effects
Some post production (coloring, sound etc.)
Render out form After Effects

Pretty stoked though, the stuff you can make with this program is crazy, and this is only the really very basics I am trying out now.

I barely post here anymore, which is weird because I have more time now then i have had in a long time. Well, not the latest week though. Made this project for a couple of dudes in Aberdeen, Scotland that needed a teaser. Pretty fun little thing, would like to have some more time on it though so i could polish up it a bit more. But here it is, enjoy it in fullscreen HD.

Lil’ Lidesistah was here for the weekend. Ate some nice food, found a great mexican spot, went to various museums and stuff but we also went to the Zoo which is really nice. Lions, kangaroos, monkeys running around and such, awesome! Will upload a batch from that soon, don’t know when though, but soon.

Other then that i though i share some screens of my set at Green Room the other week. So nice to actually have a gig again, super fun and i think i killed it with all the preparation I had made for this one. Might have some more gigs lining up soon, ill keep you posted. For now, enjoy this.
