Going out for some skateboarding tonight, pretty fucking stoked because it was like 2 weeks since i last was there. Started snowing today though, cant take it. I wanna hide at home til the spring comes out again. Anyway here is some nice words from the film maker Greg Hunt. Straight from the HUF blog.

Pretty sketchy with all the Rodney Mullen shit but i kind of like the composition of all the shots. Well put together.

Operating against the backdrop of war and bleak prospects, the Skateistan charity project is the world’s first co-educational skateboarding school, where a team of international volunteers work with girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 17, an age group largely untouched by other aid programmes.”

Featuring Arran’s distinctive custom artwork on the insole and box art, and the Slam ‘rat signal’ logo on the tongue in homage to the London skate scene, the shoe is a classic make up with a black suede toe piece and canvas upper.
