I was asked as one of many by Jenny Lafer for a collaboration to create a intepretation of a perfume scent by Maison Louis Marie. The scent that was given to me (No.04) reads from their website as heavily influenced by cedar wood, sandal wood, spicy cinnamon and nutmeg.
The project gave me free hands to create whatever I wanted by just smelling and watching the bottle. As most of the ingredients was visually on the “woodier” color scheme I created these mellow waves made out of cedar mixed with the shiny piece of gold and the white cylinders moving upwards representing the scent moving around.
The images was collected together with all of the other talented artists and handed out as a hard case book.
